Who We Are

Megan Malone is the owner and operator of Doggie Styles Professional Pet Grooming. She Grew up in St Albert, AB where she started as a dog bather at Clippin’ Along grooming shop at the age of 16. Her two years bathing, prepping and assisting the groomers gave her a strong foundation. Once out of high school Megan decided that this was her path and started working at Clippin Along full time where she gained all the necessary skills to be a groomer, and apprenticed at this busy grooming shop for the next 4 years.

In March 2008 Megan moved to Nelson BC to full fill her dream of living in a small mountain town. After two years of exploration, Megan realized that all she wanted to do was spend time with animals and use her skills of grooming and her knowledge and experience of dog behavior and turn it into a career. In January 2010 she opened Doggie Styles Professional Pet Grooming. Her love of animals, close attention to detail, and ability to uncover each pets unique style, makes Megan a one of a kind pet groomer.

Desiree

Groomer

Desiree was born and raised in Nelson B.C. She began her career at Doggie Styles Pet Grooming in 2017. She has always been passionate about animals and from a young age studied dog psychology and behaviour. Her calm and gentle nature is what makes her a great groomer. Her Priority is making sure that her furry clients are feeling and looking their best.

In 2022 Desiree and her boyfriend bought a home in Trail BC. Despite the commute she cannot imagine working anywhere else. In her spare time she enjoys being active, spending time with friends, family and her Aussalier, Malibu. She loves to travel and explore new places as much as she can.

Her Favourite breeds are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Australian Shepherds, Golden Retrievers and Pomeranians.

Lindsay

Groomer

Lindsay Molnar is 21 years old and was born and raised in Nelson BC. She lives with her partner of 6 years and two beautiful Kitties, who she loves to come home and cuddle at the end of her day.

Lindsay started with Doggie Styles right out of high school as a pet bather/grooming assistant. She has proven to be a very fast learner as well as a compassionate and caring pet lover. Her confident go-getter attitude has dogs feeling safe and loved during their spa days. She has since picked up all the skills she needs to complete brush outs and “sheddy dogs” and is well all the breed cuts. Lindsay is a talented groomer at doggie styles, and we are so happy to have her as part of our team!

Lindsay says that she absolutely loves working with all the dogs and the team at Doggie Styles Pet Grooming and it has “created a home away from home” for her. She is “grateful to have learnt so much, and excited to grow with this company”. Say hello to Lindsay next time you’re in the shop
